Hi guys.

Me and my wife currently ride with S4's.

I'd like to go lighter, especially for her. If we can maybe have less wind noise it would also be a huge bonus.

I've done the reading about the Uvex carbon kevlar enduro helmets, and I really like what I read, BUT...

I'm kind of reluctant to pay R12k for 2 helmets and they ask for some measure of maak-'n-plan-actions for one to be satisfied with their performance.

You read about having to adjust the visor and sticking tape onto them to get them to seal properly. The peak on some seems to be vibrating. The helmets clearly irritate some owners.

Surely that's not to be expected of a rather dear piece of equipment?

I admit that I'm probably treading on dangerous ground here. As a preliminary measure I apologise to the over-sensitive and over-wise.

I just don't want to waste money on a product that does not live up to (my) expectation.
