A friend of mine wants a bike mainly for commuting and is therefore looking at road bikes.  I have suggested that he rather look at dual sports as we live in an area where the off road adventures are limitless (and may also be limited due to wives).  Question is (and I remeber a thread on it) whether a versys can realistically be used as a dual sport.  I know from the previous thread that bob_nob was concerned about handling.  Any report backs on that front 

If possible how long do wheel changes take and what about the under slung zorst?
