My daughters (11yr old) been nagging me to go camping and riding again.
So 10th Oct. Camp over to 11th. @ Die Mond Camp site.
Meet this Saturday at the Engen Wynlands one stop N1 from 07h30 to leave by 08h00
If you want to eat breakfast first , please go earlier so we can leave by 08hoo/
We will be stopping alot along the way ask kids get board easily on the back of our bikes
Cost :
Adults R70 pp to camp
Children u/13 R50
Wood is available at the site for braaing and braai grids are also available
There is amazing bushman paintings not even 100m from the camp , up the River.
We can leave earlyish on Saturday , take a chilled ride over Katbakkies, stop and take pics and stop at Padstal
Then up the R355 to Die Mond.
There is a dam there with small mouth bass and Geel Vis.
There is normally 1 or 2 boats around we are allowed to use
Nice clean ablutions , with hot water and green grass lawns.
As I recall its R50 pp to camp , but I will take a ride out there and go and see them soon.
There is wood available there , so we can take some meat with us and braai there in the evening, and marshmellows
we will go hiking up the river banks
