Someone mentioned the other day that HID bulbs don't last very long if your off road a lot. I'm thinking that that would be true for a lot of motorcycle parts in general. Not sure about tires, but I do think they don't last as long on dirt. All the shaking takes it toll on pretty much every part of a bike, I'm thinking. Some of us might know that riding dirt roads in a cage is not good for the vehicle over a long period of time. Why won't this be true for a bike? Any comments? Just thought of one example, the FD bearing on the R1150GSs seem to wear out quicker if dirt roads are ridden mostly. Stand to be corrected though. What about shocks, frame integrity, airboxes, instrument cluster, chains etc.
