I have convinced my old man to sell his GSA and get something smaller (more fun).
He considered all options and after quite a bit of uumming and aaahing he has settled on a 2010 DR650se. The bike is in Welkom so 'yours truly' has offered to collect it over the weekend.
The Plan:
To catch a Grey Hound (R430) from Durban station to Welkom on Sat evening 19:00 and arrive in the 'klein dorpie' in the wee hours (04:00 AM) of Sunday morning.
The seller will then fetch me, sometime after sunrise, and take me to the bike :ricky:
Google earth reckons it's about 590km back to Durban so if all goes well I should be back by about 14h00.
I'm excited and will let you know what the ride was like once I'm back
