Hi

I'm thinking of a trip from Cape To Cairo. Then going through Libya, Morocco down back to Cape Town through West Africa.

Does anyone know of anyone who has done such a trip fairly recently? I'm concerned about the safety of such a trip as well as he feasibility in other respects (road conditions, fuel, food, accomodation, etc)?

Any comments or pointers will be greatly appreciated.
