This morning returning from the west we followed a track next to the Jukskei river I got taken out by a 4 legged cow. She stormed twice, the first time I got her turned around by hooting and reving but during the second charge there were contact. GG squeeled like a baby when I wanted to give the cow a squirt of pepper spray but needless to say that he and Shameless thought it was quite hilerious. Lukely I came off with minor damage and only lost one spot and got the "beak" cover cliped out. I was very fortunate that the horn went below the beack and not over it and through the oil cooler (how to explain that to the insurrance).
All in all the cow was only protecting a very young calf but at the time I was not ammused :-[
