What do fellow owners use for bike lift?

What do you use for lifting HP2 off the ground for tyre changes, maintenance? Was looking at the typical MX stands, but they seem to be to high to fit under bash plate. A friend indicated that a normal trolley jack with a metal plate welded on might do the job.
