What Oil to use

Hi Guys,

I'm new to the forum and new to the motorbike lifestyle. I have bought a 2008 KLR 650 as my first bike ever and I must say I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

I have been warned to watch the oil usage on my bike, but I would just like to know what should I get. I would like to keep a liter of it on hand.

Let me know your thoughts.
