So the time is nearing again for Rafiki and my annual trip north of the Limpopo. To date we’ve been very lucky with our bikes, not even having to stop for a puncture. We are however trying to remain prepared for most incidents that we may come across.
Obviously, punctures are top of the list and we’ll be taking snot worms, compressors, tyre levers and gators, but not spare tyres.
In the opinion of the more seasoned travellers out there, especially those who ride the 1200 GSA, what are the most common mechanical / bike troubles that we should be prepared for and what spare parts / tools should we have for it?
