Hi,
newby to the Dog site. I am taking my first steps into the Adventure bike world and am looking for a bike to buy. However I cannot make up my mind as I want to buy right the first time. I am sure this has been discussed to legth somewhere on this forum.
Looking at GS800, GS1200 or KTM990.
main purpose would be to commute to work in traffic and then the occational day trips or weekend trips along the back roads (or tracks).
I want to buy used, but as new as possible. Will also do +-15000km/year.
factors to consider are: fuel consumption, ability on & off road (I will go off road), maintanance cost, fun factor, resale with say 60-80000km on the clock.
