What proper commuting Boots are recommended for use on DS bikes footpegs?
This set of Sigma boots served me well but I have 3 gripes:
- soles are too soft for a DS bike. Lhs adventure footpeg caused havoc on the gear lever foot sole. The sole will not offer much protection in a sideways impact
- faux leather inserts started tearing
- coated leather started cracking - not as bad as a previous pair though
The BMW Urban boots look stylish enough to wear to a meeting but they are prohibitively expensive.
Any suggestions?
