What went through your mind just before an accident or very close call?

I've often wondered what one thinks about, if anything, before a crash or close call? Obviously this applies to those who survived to tell  :deal:

Happened to me, I had a hairy situation and close shave and literally had my life flash before my eyes, with images of broken bones and a coffin, family left alone all in a nano second...
Of course this would probably also apply to what passes through your rods in this situation too  ;D
