What's up with CPT companies and e-mails?

I needed a new rear spring for my KTM 300 about a week ago, so I e-mailed three different companies in Cape Town:

KTM Cape Town
KTM Paarl
MP Suspension

I could have phoned them, but it was convenient at the time to fire off 3x e-mails to their respective parts departments (all of which I have used before).

Of the three, only MP Suspension responded (they did PROMPTLY so). Neither KTM dealership bothered to respond.

I'd be happy to phone these guys, but emails are convenient, especially since I provided the full part number.

So.. what's up with CPT and emails? It's not just the bike industry. JHB companies are usually super quick..!
