Grey Hound
I've had my Airoh S4 for about a year now, and aftera particularly sweaty ride yesterday, I decided it was time to wash the lining. Soaked it in the sink with some washing powder for about 15 mins, then squeezed it out. Ugghhh! - the water was muddy brown - just like a river in flood!
After rinsing twice , it was like new again. I hate to think what could have been "growing" in there for all this time!
I also took of the visor and peak and discovered 4 flies, 2 bees, 1 moth and other small, assorted insects bits wedged under the peak
I think in the interest of personal hygiene, we should all wash the linings of our helmets oncea month - or sooner if you ride often or during summer!
