Which exhaust for 1100?

Looking to replace the heavy catted unit with a connector pipe and silencer. Best I've seen is around a Remus for around R5k from Motorworks, which is quite a lot of moolah to get rid of the sewing machine noise and a bit of weight. Anything else (cheaper) I can look at?
