Pack Dog
I know this has been discussed plenty of times, but mostly heavy duty tubes. I'd like to know about normal thin tubes. From what most of you suggest is to use heavy duty tubes and when you get a puncture you try to patch it or moer the tube away and put in a normal thin tube. Thin tubes are less heavy and bulky to carry as a spare anyway.
But which brand of thin tubes patches good? Because some tubes(silicone ones) just don't like patches. On a recent trip we had a flat and it was a thin, piece of crap chinese fong yong - but it patched like a dream! And the Kenda tube was a nightmare - couldn't get the patch to stick.
So what brand tubes to buy as spares - that can patch if we have to?
