I realized today that Grondotter never properly introduced himself on the Forum so given the current situation and the generosity of the Wilddogs, I thought that I would start this thread about my brother and ask those who knew him to contribute.
Gert, in a word, lived! I'll start with a picture of him shortly after he proudly took ownership of his first ever 'out the box' vehicle, his 2014 GSA.
According to the staff at Eastview, when they opened the crate, Gert turned away in tears.
Gert learnt the hard way how to work for what you have when he lost everything as a young adult and had to start over. With no income and a family to support, he started by doing odd jobs as a handyman and slowly over the past decade or so, he built a very successful business in Nelspruit. Not without it's challenges, yet he managed to stay ahead.
