Hey Wild Dogs!
We are a couple from Switzerland, on our world trip since February 2017 and we will ship our two XT660 (R and Z) to South Africa next May. We plan on spending quite some time in South Africa and the surrounding countries before we will head up along the East coast back to Europe. Therefore we are a bit in planing mood atm :spitcoffee:
We are looking forward to explore, meet locals and get to know your (dirt) roads. So we sure will have some questions as soon as we arrive. The rough plan is to arrive in Joburg (bikes will be transported by airplane this time, as we had already enough bad stuff happening with boat shipping) and then head first towards Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe before coming back to SA (and Lesotho) for the spring/summer. After that we probably will head North along the East Coast back towards Europe. Everything is open though but we try to plan a bit with weather seasons as far as possible.
Looking forward to meet some local riders and hear your stories!
