Friend of mine has a XR 600R that he is willing to sell for R15k.
Bike is in neat condition, registered, but the motor is seized.
The engine is now open. Piston, bearings and gaskets at a minimum.
I want to take it on as a project with my son.
It seems they sell for about R25k when in neat condition.
Is R15k "fair"or am I setting myself up for big loss?
Can a engine rebuilt be done for less that R10 on these motors?
