I have done a couple longish rides on my XR, and quickly realized the importance of a screen.
Well this weekend that has been my project. I am not keen on making too many permanent modifications to the bike and wanted to make the screen as quick to remove as possible. This is a work in progress, but this is what I have come up with so far.
It looks a little bit too vertical and I have just stuck a piece of rectangular polyethylene on. I think I must increase the slant backwards and shorten and put some shape into the screen.
I took it for a brief spin, it makes a huge difference up to 80 kmh above that and there is a lot of buffeting to the helmet. I would appreciate any suggestions as far as shape or deflectors.
