XR650L - Time for new rear tyre

The Battlewing is nearing end of its life and was not that bad. I use my bike for everything - commuting, weekend rides etc. so I am looking for something that can do everthing, must have good puncture resistance, and will give me al least 6000kms. I ride like an old man...
