Bike
Yamaha XT660
hi everyone
I have hit a bit of a wall with my project. I have a front end off a YZ  that I am fitting to my XT660R, now I don't want to use the pin from the XT with the YZ clamps, I would like to keep the YZ front end as is. my problem is this, I need a steering head bearing with an O.D of 47 (XT frame) and an I.D of 28 (YZ pin), thickness is can range between 12mm and 17mm (not to critical), so,
I need a tapered roller bearing (cup and cone bearing) 28x47x(12 to 17). [/b]
can anybody tell me where I can find one or which bike uses this size bearing?
I have tried all the bearing suppliers I know of and none of them have. I have consulted the SKF catalogue and there is nothing in there. I have tried Yamaha and KTM, they can help either.
this size does exists because I have seen it for sale on Aliexpress and Amazon.
if anyone can help it would be hugely appreciated.
