So Superten's Superten has been struggling to start lately.

Shock.

Horror.

Bike=Freedom.
No Bike=...(Too terrible to mention)

So in a nutshell,the valve clearances,over time tend to get smaller and smaller, and eventually end up being 0.The result is the valves dont close and the motor cannot generate enough compression to start. The clearances are adjusted with small shims,which,in an ideal world,one would just go to the local yammy dealer and pick up a few new ones.
However,we live in an imperfect world.

I am looking for either a supplier of shims,or more realistically-a machine shop in Cape Town with a surface grinder.

Any suggestions?
