My rear rim cracked and my front rim was showing serious signs of corrosion, so I thought I'd bite the bullet and get both replaced. Took them to Hagon which is up the road (ish) from me and they convinced me that the corrosion on the front rim could probably be polished out. Since there's virtually no corrosion on the inside of the rim and a £50 difference in a new vs polished rim, I thought I'd take a chance. The moment I walked out of there I started worrying that the front won't come up as well and that the difference between the two rims would be stark. Anyway, sucked it up and on Saturday I got the rims back.

Yes, the front has since been inflated properly.
