Okay, I just got to see a 2004 KLR250. Awesome little bike and well looked after 33000km and the guy is looking for R13000.
Question, Would like to know about a few things here first. Price vs value for the bike. Seems that the value of the bike should be in the region of R10000 but will see what the guy say.
Spares, Not knowing the 250 at all and availability of spares, How freely are they available?
Reason for looking at the bike. It is much smaller then the 650 and less power full. Wife wants to learn to ride and the bike looks perfect for that and power will not surprise her. Kids, 2 Daughters are making me mad as they want to ride with. (Age 15 & 12) They can ride but needs exposure - lots of it.
Doing a lot of off-road riding/farm style, license for the kids will not be a problem
