Which pipe for Honda CRF 450 X

It does look nice, but you never get the money back for it when you sell. As you say, SS intake valves would be money better spent. Also doing the mods i said, airbox, open pipe, rejet, will make it hop. Rejetting will be under a grand, and you can do it yourself.

My CRF still has a closed airbox cover and it goes ! I would do that but would not want to cut my sidepanel cover, too much of a mission when washing the bike.

I'm just going to cut the top off, its safer. But don't do anything until you rejet, because the bike will run too lean.

Where in SA can one get a pipe for the X? Preferably a pipe with the best value for money. My X sounds like a piskriek when I open the throttle.

Do the muffler mod, makes a big difference.

I can get aFMF slip-on at BTOSports for about R2600-00. Not sure if it's worth it. Wedgy, do one just take out the muffler?

No, needs to be cut.
