Okay, so who knows what happened to the KTM? I assume it is also going to be loaded on a bakkie after leaking oil.

Okay, I'm a Pom like Henry, with a typically English lack of aptitude for anyone else's language, but right from day one, I always tried my best to pronounce place names as near properly as I could. Henry, however seems to take delight in mangling them in as ignorant a way as possible, and it makes me cringe.
As for his bikes, well the Metisse gave out because, according to most opinions it's just a piece of old British crap, but according to me the twats who built it did a shite job and shouldn't be allowed to oil a wheelbarrow.

Wonder what's KTM's excuse?

I like the show and the way he said last knight that he have never experience sunset like the Kalahari sunset, as well how he promote South Africa, unlucky with the bikes though.

I enjoy watching anything regarding bikes, even if he tried to cross the country on a vespa, but moer man, 1 hour program with five minutes of biking.

The missus tuned me last night "hoekom kyk jy dit as dit jou so die moer in maak"

guess I have to accept it for what it is.

I just think some local biking intervention would have showed him better places to ride.

That route of his, while covering some awesome places, has barely scratched the surface of what we have here in South Africa, I mean, WTF?  a bike ride and he doesn't go anywhere near the Eastern Transvaal, the Free State KZn border erea, the eastern freestate, the list is endless, he could have easily done 15000km here.

As with all his programs he only spends 2 weeks on a trip. Time is a factor it seems.
His other job as a stage director takes up most of his time I guess.

I think KTM promised, and gave them a back-up "workshop" in the backround,  for the entire shoot. :laughing4: You will find BMW is still debating the possible use of one of their bikes.
