That is something special.  :thumleft:
Only thing that sticks out for me is the car tyre/mag on the sidecar.

There is a adaptor you can get from Rigged4Life to fit a 1200 Gs rim and tyre, this will be next when I have spare cash.Pitty a used gs rim and tyre costs more than the adaptor.

Also with the tyre on now I will never have to change rubber again for as long as I ride this puppy.

Am I missing something here? I see a whole load of sidecars with nobody in them. So what is point ?
Not trying to be rude here but surely there is 'limited' fun in riding a bike with sidecar alone rather than riding just a bike. If its for a disabled person I could understandf but then I would expect to see a wheelchair attached to sidecar.

Ja sometimes one is thirsty and you need to carry supplies!!

One of the advantages of the art of sidecar riding is that the sidecar provides huge stability and providing that your rig has been built properly and correctly set up one can have huge amounts of fun either just cruising along the off road stuff or hammering it...

Sometimes we do carry monkeys though... (t person in the sidecar is called a monkey - no matter how much they protest...)

wow, great photos

I think my biggest fear of being a 'monkey' would be the driver forgetting about the extra width. Ive seen so many people with panniers that have clipped them on poles, fuel pumps, cars etc

Hee hee! There are many benefits and uses for owning and riding a sidecar, personally I use mine for riding 3 up with my girlfriend and German Shepherd on extended camping trips...

Having said this though I must just tell you, riding solo with a rig attached to a bike as powerful as the BMW 1200 GSA is HELL of exciting! Hanging off the thing while cornering at 130km/h around sweeping left and right bends will get anybody's blood pumping. The reality is I could never 'lean like Rossi' on a solo bike as I am not a good enough rider to do this... but with my sidecar rig I do it all... the... time!  :ricky:
