Great feedback and thanks to everyone who has posted pics and thoughts!

So of the 18 who will buy and the 22 who may buy it's time to see what has been bought colour and option wise.

But how is the voting my china? There is no option to change your vote, don't know if that is a WD forum limitation. I'd personally go for the Tri-Colour manual base model if it was available but it isn't - so the Tri Colour ABS TC will do. Wish they had a sub middle of the road model with switchable ABS only. Taking the longer term view on this and am ready to commit when my other bikes are sold. My 650L is not for sale though - the new AT cannot replace that.

I have also read that they outsell all advebture bikes currently. Hope Kawa and Suz wake up and join the party but seems Kawa is road focussed with another 900 supercharged bike to hit the market. Well done Honda, very well done. I never thought they will launch a proper ds bike since the TA got more road biased and then that x dresser range....i would not mind a red one with black rims. Man i dont get the golden rim thing.....

I don't understand it either. I dislike gold jewelry, I think the gold rims on a Subaru WRX looks dumb, I was never tickled by the John Player Special decals on Team Lotus cars and I don't even like gold Ohlins shocks.

But man o man, a gold motorcycle rim just does it for me

So I rode the new Twin the other day and compared to the KTm 1190 Adv. Both on dirt, same conditions, same day. The Africa T feels very light but underpowered compared to KTM 1190, which is miles apart.
My personal opinion, if you looking for a big adv bike to start on and get the skills up on, then the Honda Twin is a definite. If you looking for a big duellie for serious off-road, gravel, twee spoor,etc and adrenalin then the 1190 is the way to go.

Got my new Manual Tri Colour 4 weeks ago!
Its standing in my garage with 0km on the clock as I'm in the USA until next week.
Also ordered a set of Pirelli Scorpion Rally's that will go on with the 1000km service.

Cannot wait!

And for the KTM guys that says it needs more power.......bull!
I had a BMW HP2 before this and you cannot use all the power offroad unless you are a pro or have a deathwish.

But to each his own....not bashing KTM, just not for me.
