No, just used a piece of black plastic to mount the switch,
Then mounted that to cover the gap.
Can take a photo sometime if you want
All things are difficult before they are easy

I am following this thread with interest as I had the same problem and was
able to kinda come right but it was a "boer-maak-'n-plan" repair.

My current solution is a piece of cable tie wedged in there forcing contact

I would love to find a switch of the same size taht could fit in the same place, hence looking OEM

Gonna try communica sometime see if they have any worthy switches

Mikie I had a similar problem with mine ( original switch) and sorted it....I wrote about it on this forum with some pics....if you do a search you should be able to find it. This must be almost two years ago and the switch is 100% reliable still.
