Just a quick 743km weekend ride with my goose and our baby.
Unlike some of you buggers, I work on a Saturday morning and our adventure only started at 13:00.
Booked us in to the Protea Hotel Malaga outside Waterval Boven and was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Apart from the bar bill being almost the same as the accommodation and the aircon in the room having two modes......off and boeing 747 simulator.
Left Sunday morning at about six with a light drizzle in the air and headed out toward Kaapsehoop. Coffee in Nelspruit, breakfast at the Woodsman in Sabie.
Hit Longtom with 20m visabilty and almost missed the cannon turnoff. Hit Dullstroom at about 11 for a quick draught at the Old Inn whilst the missus peruses the little shops . Back in Benoni at 14:45, just in time for the cricket.
