Met a guy from Washington this morning at the BMW Dealership in Nelspruit.
Jack has been traveling for 2 years and six months, he has been through South America, North America, down through Africa in since he left home. He is planning to go back up through Africa to Eastern Europe and then he says, he will decide where to go from there.
He has done all of this on his Dakar, it now has 72000 Miles on the odo.
O' ja, he is doing this 100% SOLO, no backup, no Sat phone, he did not even have a cellphone until he arrived in RSA.
All I can say is RESPECT and that I actually envy this man.
A few photographs I have taken of his bike with my phone, I can not explain why I did not take a photograph of him as well.
