Hey guys an girls,
I am planning on a trip from CT to Durban next year sometime(gives me time to buy more gear).
Nothing special, planning to do it on the N1. Is there anyone that has done this on a GS1200 before? Do you have any tips for a trip like this. I reckon 3 days is enough going there and then a week or two later its another 3 back.
I have never ridden across SA like this before and am so excited to attempt it. But there is probably a few things I have not considered. So basically im leaning on others experience to help me plan before hand.
So far its a stock standard GS1200 LC Trophy, still planning on getting a PUIG touring screen and likely some soft saddlebags. (I'll be staying with my folks at home) so I don't need to pack too heavily.
Also if there is anyone that is keen to do this with me is of course welcome, dates etc can be discussed closer to the time?
