Tee bag, does the fmf make it a bit more nippy? I changed to 13t up front and that made a helluva difference, mine runs at 120kmh quite comfortably now.

What's the part number on that slipon, and price if I may ask?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the bike is not faster the gauge speed is less accurate. I also have the 13 which makes acceleration a little quicker than stock, but you will lose a little from the top speed. Using the GPS the speedo seems to be about 10-15% out at 120 so you need to be going about 132-136 to be doing 120 actual.

Did you pull the snorkel from the airbox yet?

I tried the FMF without the spark arrestor today - loads of noise and it seemed to lack top end. With the arrestor in it is quieter and feels a bit more free in the mid range over stock.

Is the stock front sprocket 12t?

What rpm's does it do at 120 kph with the 12t and 13t?

Great pics and a great ride on a lekker bike. (Please don't let 2SD see this)
Fantastic consumption. I think the main reason for the pipe is a little bit throatier sound and the loss of weight.
Love the look of the other pic from the other bike with those engine plastics off.

Some questions about your choice of the 250 rally as opposed to the 250L - I'm in the market for a similar sized bike.
1. What made you choose the Rally as opposed to the L ? I know the Rally has a bigger fuel capacity, higher seat height and a bit more ground clearance
2. Are the differences between the 2 bikes worth the higher Rally price, in your opinion ?

1. all that - mostly height, screen + wind protection, better lights + LED indicators - and the look (I at least want to look like I am going 200 even if I am not)

2. with discount the difference in price was not that much.

If you just want a plaything and have no intention of longer trips then get the L

No, would have to lower the suspension.
