Went on our first long ride this past long weekend , Down to the Bikefest . did just over 2000 kilos . and would like to know if normal . We were 2 up , KTM top box and panniers , average speed was around 140 and in some places strong head and side wind . My normal fuel consumption around the 19.4 kilos per liter , on this trip it dropped down to 16 . I am fairly sure that the nice flat surfaces of the panniers does have a influence on consumption .
Apart from this tiny drawback MY 1190 ran great , never missed a beat and gave when asked for . I am very chuffed with the KTM .
