OIL RECOMMENDATION

Motorex oil is/was used in the last oil change on my bike , but as we tend to travel long distances having top up oil on hand is not always available , So my question is what oil does the broader used suggest to use that is freely available and one can top up with another premium brand and not be worried that it would cause engine damage ?
I would rather do more frequent oil services and make sure oil is always clean , that stick to the recommended oil service and use Motorex only
