Voltage Rectifier/regulator
« on: June 01, 2020, 04:59:47 pm »
Hi all,

750XRV's voltage regulator gave up the ghost (over charging).

Sooooo, are the units supplied by Startline any good?

Some suppliers I have seen online, use the same graphic as illustration, but at double the price.  :patch:

Thanks

Couple of years ago I used Krog (Potgieter?)for my Firestorm, he uses the old unit so you dont have to butcher your loom.
Unfortunately I dont have a number for him or know if he still operates, if he still does, some of the okes here I am sure can sort you out with his contact details.
Will try get a number too.

Eish,,,also send a whatsapp to the cellno, the guy read it, but no reoly.
I hate  to be ignored.
I hope you come right. From what I can remember the Hondas had very similar regulator/rectifiers, VTR, VFR, CBR etc etc

What makes regulators/rectifiers different from bike to bike other than the plug and the amp rating?

It's a full bridge rectifier and caps regulator and one or two odds and ends really not major differences?

Hi, ordered and paid for a 50amp unit (instead of a 35amp)  :deal:, still need to collect from Startline.

Thank you ALL for the feedback and suggestions.  :ricky:
