Looks like the dates I choose seem to be difficult for most people.

When are we going to do the next WD ride?

I am riding De Wildt tomorrow with a friend, and we want to ride at a quickish pace.  Depending on time we might put in a little distance as well.  If there are any WD's in the mood for a ride like this, let me know.

We are riding Kwa Machlangu tomorrow.  If anyone is interested contact me and I will give you the details.
The ride is quite technical at times and definitely provides a good challange.  We won't be racing the trail as we are going to explore other routes if time allows.

My forks are off, sprockets all off, head and barrel off waiting for new piston, eish.
About 2 days works and my bike is ridable again.  Would love to do this one.

Ok, I'm in

Just done new wheel bearings front and back, new brake pads and general service today

I think a decent test ride is in order
I used to be indecisive, but I'm not so sure anymore

I am thinking of putting together a beginners plastic ride around Maraisburg for this coming weekend, riding on Saturday 13 June 2009.
The reason for the "beginners" is that I am very rusty, and have not been on the plastic bike for a long time. I am starting to like the 950 far too much. Thinking of selling the plastic, but probably not worth it.

AdventureMX, I am planning to "advertise" this ride on the planning a ride thread as well, just to reach a wider audience, if that is okay with you?
Loving the journey!

No Problem!

I started this thread in the hope to keep the planning on the plastic bike rides open.

In other words, this would be the 1st place to look to see if any rides are planned.

Sorry all. No plastics ride for me this weekend.  :( I just saw a whole lot of oil under the bike, and it seems that a gasket has gone. Any chance that this happened during the last major service, just 1 ride ago, or will it be something that I did, and therefore must pay for?  :'(

Tomorrow the public holiday !

Who is keen for a light ride at Maraisburg?
Should be awesome with the recent rains.

My finger is fooked but the stiches are now out and I will tape it up really well.

Anyone keen?

Might be in De-Wildt with the plastic
Might be at home
Might take the big Katoom out again
Might do the Malawi ride report.....

Want to come ride a little bike?

Alcohol is essentially nature’s Leatt Brace – with it, you might not be able to move worth sh*t, but you can take a slam or two and be no worse for the wear.

That will be good on the finger and hard on the body.
Sounds brilliant.
Lets do it.
