Can't advise you on the Kenda.

Dunlop D606 on the rear and Pirelli MT 21 on the front performed well for me on the DR

Thanks that was what I was going to go with before I started reading opinions on the net
What milage did u get on d606?

Milage depends on the twist of the throttle of course.

Aggressive riding on hard pack gravel, only 2500km.

I'm sure docile riding will result in excess of 7500 km.

Anyone run a Kenda k270?
Just got my hand on a dr650 got some very toad orientated takkies on it.
Have read all the above advice but wondering about how the Kenda compares.
Anyone got experience with rear K270?

Well priced and not bad life and although not very aggressive, handled a Kaokoland trip of 2500km...
Have moved to the D606 as it is better in the sand, but much shorter tyre life than the Kendas.
Unless you doing quite a bit of sand they are good for most riding situations and once my 606`s are done I still have the Kenda front and rear I took off with LOTS of life in them.

My 5c worth: Unless you are requiring an aggressive tyre, these are great and good value for money.
