I just use a small Bialetti Moka knock-off and a penny stove. At first I had a homemade penny but then later I bought one at GPS4Africa. Takes a small amount of spirits and a lighter and there you go. Obviously I pre-grind my beans at home. This I only do for long trips, I've never stopped next to the road to make myself coffee, mostly due to safety considerations. Before COVID, I would prefer to stop somewhere where I can buy good coffee and talk to interesting people. Now, I am rethinking that strategy, maybe the bring-your-own is a better choice.
