2011 Skaapkop Breede bash

@Heimer with @Hinksding and @Riebeeker

Thanks for the pics @Kamanya. That person in the pic is not me. It was a great Bash that blew out at another venue, and we ended at up at Hein's farm.

I remember that @Grrrr.... tried his best to get a couple married that night, but he couldn't get the crowd's attention,  not even with @VaalBaas standing ontop of the Harvester.  :imaposer: Good old days. Bashes was clearly in, 10 years ago, with easily up to 100 members attending.
Eet vleis! 'n 1 000 000 jakkalse kan nie verkeerd wees nie.

Vioolsdrift, skaapkops were done in a BIG poitjie, fark Wales played and lost in the World Cup Semi that Saturday morning, so naturally we had the Bar open at about 08:30 for the game. The venue had been warned, but had no concept of the Old Dogs drinking capability.  :biggrin:

The lister pumps feeding the camping ablutions were turned off at dusk, so no "flush" facilities, those toilets were wow by morning.  :eek7:

Here are a few from the Boegoeberg Bash

Riding down from Johberg with the "Groot Piele"was great. We stopped somewhere for beers a few times. @IceCreamMan 2nd from the right on his new Tenere. We waited a lot from that bloody DLR.

Dave, @KiLRoy  & Hentie

Hein and @Kamanya in the days before smart phones. Andrew do you remember how you revved the shit out of that 950?  :lol8:

Some local girl also got laid on one night. No pictures were taken and names have been changed to protect the innocent.  What happens in Boegoeberg stays in Boegoeberg.  ;)

Those of us who were not too slaughtered from the shenanigans the next day had a great ride down to Marydale and Putsonderwater and back. Only about 40% of us rode out, there rest swam in the dam.

@shark_za riding his trials bike up those rocks above the camp was also something to see. Dont have a photo of that. The days when Adventurer and Mr Big were still around.

@Grootseun @Brink and so many others of the old school were there.

Good times.
