Le Mans 24 hour - ultimate test of reliability ?
« on: October 07, 2021, 10:02:58 am »
24 hours at 12000 plus rpm. Interesting the brands that have won the event. Seems a bit like an all French event mostly.

Absolutely ultimate test of reliability. I love both the cars and bikes. Just wish we could see more of the motorcycle events on local tele.

Pass this way once!

Wonder what the lap times looks like at night, dragging your knee at 11pm must be quite a feat

Le Mans must be the ultimate test of endurance.  It is an interesting series and a pity we don't get proper TV coverage of Le Mans and the other endurances races (7 or 8 I think).  This is especially sad as they run in the MotoGP / WSBK off season to prevent clashes.

Our very own Sheridan Morias features here as he raced for YART for a few years and currently for the Wepol team.

They brought the RC8 back?  I wasn't aware.  Darn!  I thought I knew everything.   :snorting:

But yeah, for it to race it needs to actually exist, preferably the same year model of the year the racing is taking place and 1000cc.  (1200cc if a two cylinder)
