The question is simple. What is your top speed ?
The question is not about if it is relevant because you cannot go fast (or you cannot grasp the simplicity of the question), if you feel stupid, if you dream of 240 on GS, if you want to race Baviaans or cannot go fast. How difficult can it be to just answer the question, without exposing your inner fears or guilt feelings or just plain not understanding the question ?
If you cannot answer or add constructive comment, then go the next "fred" where perhaps you can tell everybody that you feel stupid, are born stupid, cant read, believe that everybody must live by your standards ext. I mean just reading the posts in this "fred" it seems there are a few people out here that needs a friend or just feel lonely and need to say someting just not to fall asleep. Just reading the "non relevance" answer made me understand that the world is full of Malema's.

On tar - 206 km/h GPS.

Nope 298 was not a Typo Im sure if I go down wind I might just get 300 and yes I am dead serious.
Did it on my R1 on the R27
Im in Blouberg if you wana come and see I will gladly show you ???

NP - I was looking at it in the context of the SE - on the R1 it is easily believable.
Life is tough - get a helmet!

hahaha, Kola ek het 78 km/h op my Giant gedoen in die Argus teen ou Bastard weg af....dog die marshall kry n oorval, maar elke meter wat ek kan free is n meter minder om te trap. En trust my, daai 78 was fokken vinnig !

GS 800 topped 207km/h Garmin speed flat road. Did 216 Km/h Garmin downhill near Krugersdorp

Me and my fat ass on R56 clock said 220 and it cut out !! so reckon 205 true speed aprox  :)
Current rides: F800GS x 2

Id rather be riding my motorcycle thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my motorcycle.

Did 286 km/h on K1200S and 304 km/h on my old Busa (both GPS).
Never checked the R1, although the speedo was on 299 many times.

Best so far on Adventure is 201km/h.

I realised that being a speed freak I must change bikes, hence the GS.

Moer your bike is fast, no really that's incredible!  About 30km/h faster than what was achieved when it was tested. Yours must be one of a kind

Not sure what to 'read' in this...?? ??? :ricky: (reading all the 'other crap' in this thread...)??  ;D

I get 241km/h ALL the time, so does two other 1050 Tiger riders I know...
No engine mods, just Zard pipe, Pipercross air filter & T-bone air pipe removed (airbox 'mod'). ;)

2-3 weekends ago (on a ThinkBike brekkie-run) a tailed in the slip of a Blackbird, a SV1000 and a CBR1000, all ave. 250km/h.

But, as Johan said, the speedo propably 'over reading'....!? :mwink:

The "problem" is, I find that the 'higher the speed', the more 'accurate' the speedo becomes!?  ;D ;)

No need to read anything into my earlier statement, I am truly amazed at how fast your bike is! I do suspect that your speedo is over reading by some margin. If in doubt use Google. That is why I thought your bike must be one of a kind, but now I am told that there are other tigers doing this kind of speed! I stand to be corrected; there are now 3 of a kind, nogal!

R, why dont you take my GPS for a ride...in fact I will join on thye GS and we wont have "handbrakes". But you can just put my GPS in your jacket pocket and we will see how far your speedo and the GPS differ. I agree , it just sounds too fast.....but it would be great if it is true speed...
