As a sidebar:

Shit happens, I've been on a few rides, and I've come to the conclusion that it is actually the rule rather than the exception.

The difference to me is how the shitee handles it, in Wes' case, not once did he loose his cool, still found time for a joke (even to the extent of placing the video clip, essentially laughing at himself)....dude  :thumleft:

Was a shakedown, getting ready for the big time, anytime!

i always carry some electrical block connectors with the plastic housing removed and a small screw driver... they come in handy if the cable snaps off near the end.

Some pics from the day...

Jealousy makes you nasty!

Rose amongst the thorns...

The first break:

2nd break, XR owners try to figure out an Italian bike... Stroke-her gives up and resorts to name-calling and nose-picking  :mwink:

*sigh* I must admit, there are worse places to spend an afternoon

and at least I made a new friend...

good times :thumleft:

o, admission time - closer inspection by beserker has revealed that I routed my clutch cable like a dork. oops  :lamer:
