Race Dog
Today was the first time I had, to undress :3some: the newly acquired 1200GS to see what`s going on underneath the covers.
First thing I saw was --no inline fuse for the spots, relay was there but no fuse,so I fitted in line fuses and a extra wire for the GPS and routed it to the front with a cigarette lighter plug fitted to the front as well.
Same time I checked the air cleaner, that was still clean.
I also fitted a wire for charging with my Brenton BX2 battery charger with a plug coming out below the seat,so now I can just plug the charger in for maintenance-trickle charge without having to remove the seat.
The bike looks clean,as if it hasn`t done any dirt,I don`t know the previous owner ,believe it belonged to a Lady ?,but for 33000 km ,the bike really looks clean and very well looked after,so I am very happy with the buy
I also had the first chance to ride the bike ,only like :ricky: around town, but FAAARK,this ting she got power :thumleft: >.
So now we have to hit the road and enjoy the bike to its full potential. Will be visiting Nemodakar and Sweetness in Patensie and see from there on where we end up :ricky:
Couple of pics added as well :mwink:
