Thanks for that Lecap. I will be fitting a new battery tonight. Hopefully that is all that it is. I have checked all the electrics that can get alot of water on them and they all seem fine. By that i mean they not dirty or corroded in any way. The battery wasnt loose when i removed it but...

I have a problem with my 2005 Dak in that she will idle in the garage no problem. Take her out on the road and she will run for a while say about 6/7 km then you notice the rev counter is bouncing around at about the 6000 rpm mark then she looses power and dies. Sometimes she will start right...

My bike died on Sunday after a good day in the saddle. We were about 40ks from home when i noticed the rev counter was doing 7000rpm and dancing around. When we stopped the counter only went down to 4000rpm but the bike was idling with no hassles. About a k down the bike just cut out and died...
