My solution to what biking has become....

Sheez, this is a relief. I thought there was something wrong with me  :patch: After riding various alphabet bikes for a number of years, I completely fell in love with biking all over again when I bought my "Kan Lekker Ry " 650 single pot thumper. I don't know what it is, but I am enjoying...

My EX made my day !!

I got a pair of Lookwell riding pants you can have for the youngster. I can't remember the size, I think they are 32. I might even have a "used twice " helmet as well, not sure if it is still around, will have a look tomorrow, basically brand new. Bought it for the wife, but she does not want to...

    Battery Charging Question

I store my bike under a bike cover and keep my battery good by having it hooked up to one of those battery maintenance thinga -ma-jigs, the one that keeps your battery topped up all the time. My questions is ...Does the battery "release" fumes etc and if so, would the bike cover trap these...

    Another KLR tire question!

Impressive, I saw my gat within my first 1000km..............Caledon Mud Hole and brakes don't make a good combo, but what a lot of fun  :thumleft:

    Another KLR tire question!

LOL, How does Miss Daizy drive? I don't ride that aggressively, but I was surprised that I only got 5000km out of the tire. No wheel spinning or any of that sort of thing, just normal riding and applying a bit of power out of corners...??

    Another KLR tire question!

What about a T63 front and back...or don't you get that combo?

    Another KLR tire question!

Hi RobC, I will definitely look at that combo once I have the skills to get proper use out of those tires, I'm still very new and inexperienced at this DS business and quite honestly, I think a full on set of knobblies would be a waste at this stage.

    Another KLR tire question!

Thanks Meteldog, looks like it is either the Anakee or TW 41 / 42 setup. Would the Anakee setup work for Tankwa, Cedarberg etc or would the TW 41 / 42 be better?

    Another KLR tire question!

My stock tires have now had it and I need to replace them. I would estimate that 80% of my riding is tar based with the odd weekend gravel road, way too much tar but that is it for the moment. I plan to increase the gravel travel a lot more as my confidence grows and I'm really looking forward...

KLR shift lever problems with boots

I have the O'Niel Element boots and they don't have the lip at the sole of the boot. They support your foot really well and I'm sure they would give good protection in the event of an off, unfortunately, I just can't seem to get the gear shifting right with these boots. I'm quite sure that I am...
