I store my bike under a bike cover and keep my battery good by having it hooked up to one of those battery maintenance thinga -ma-jigs, the one that keeps your battery topped up all the time. My questions is ...Does the battery "release" fumes etc and if so, would the bike cover trap these...

LOL, How does Miss Daizy drive? I don't ride that aggressively, but I was surprised that I only got 5000km out of the tire. No wheel spinning or any of that sort of thing, just normal riding and applying a bit of power out of corners...??

What about a T63 front and back...or don't you get that combo?

Hi RobC, I will definitely look at that combo once I have the skills to get proper use out of those tires, I'm still very new and inexperienced at this DS business and quite honestly, I think a full on set of knobblies would be a waste at this stage.

Thanks Meteldog, looks like it is either the Anakee or TW 41 / 42 setup. Would the Anakee setup work for Tankwa, Cedarberg etc or would the TW 41 / 42 be better?

My stock tires have now had it and I need to replace them. I would estimate that 80% of my riding is tar based with the odd weekend gravel road, way too much tar but that is it for the moment. I plan to increase the gravel travel a lot more as my confidence grows and I'm really looking forward...

I've got the same problem with my boots, can't get the gear shifting right. Tried all the combo's of lowering foot pegs to raising the gear lever etc......I'm just too dof to get it right with MX boots! Bought myself another set of boots instead, not so MX style. They do not offer the same...
