I'm not sure that the whine would be there in reality. I've got a 1050 Tiger and it sounds great. I've ridden the 675 and it has a sound somewhere between the thump of a Duke twin and a tuned Jap 4 - as it should be being a triple.
Generally all of the Triumph triples sound great - but I...
Yo Dude
Well I'm not SA but I got involved with Wilddogs via a friend who is and then some riding down in Africa.
UKGSer is good - there are places to ride offroad but you don't have the thousands of KMs that you do in Africa. The offroad scene is often short - out of necessity - so often it...
Er. Gotta disagree there about Top Gear. They certainly don't support the British car maker at all and in fact (quoted in court) contributed to the demise of Rover cars. J.Clarkson drives a Merc, Hammond a Porsche and Captain Slow a Ferrari. I'm British and I know that we can be a bit arsey at...
Probably - but this is the latest test as of today from one of the few - mags - that have actually ridden it. Besides I work offshore and haven't been on this site for a while....

Bit pricey, but as it will run on anything would make a great adventure bike.

New Ducati Multistrada. I'm very, very impressed. My wife was looking on nervously at me and the salesman. It's nothing like the previous one at all. For a start - with the...
Now this is me with Charley Boorman. Bear with me 'cos I'm trying to work my way around posting pictures without getting divorced. Kinda not straight forward.
Met up with Goose at the Excel Show in London. See the picture and note the stickers. He was quietly sticking them on as many bikes as he could get away with.

It's simple.
If you want longevity of engine life and reduced maintenance then buy a 4S. If you are happy to spend quite a bit of time maintaining a 2S because you love the snap then that's the way forward. A 4S will probably be a little easier on the other bits of a bike as well - chains...
But the bullshit blurb makes it clear that this is supposed to be an offroad bike in the same vein as the GS Panzer. It is lighter by around 600kg's so maybe it would be okay.....
